Starring Daniel Day-Lewis in the leading role, this cinematic translation of Milan Kundera's famous novel confuses me, so did Kundera's writing. I think a lot of essence of the book is lost in the movie, because lot of the depth of writing need to be conveyed by the acting and who ever makes the film from a novel by Kundera, this loss is bound to happen.
