I have decided to stop taking French films - they are artsy to the point of being slow and boring. It is supposedly a world classic from director Alain Resnais. It starts off like a documentary shot in slow motion, turns out it is two lovers talking to each other. I cannot concentrate on two people and their monotonous conversations long even if it revolves around something as catastrophic as Hiroshima.
