Ladder 49
John Travolta and Jouquin Phoenix are two of my favorite actors, who portray firefighters in Baltimore Fire Dept, in this movie. I think this is a long overdue film that is in a way dedicated to the firefighters who perished trying to save lives during 9/11 disaster.The movie is average, not as intense as the other firefighter movie I had seen a while back called Backdraft. Ladder 49 concentrates more or less on the personal life and triumphs of Jack Morrison, a young firefighter played by Phoenix. More than the heroics it tends to focus on the personal side of things and the ending is also life-like.
