A movie and book review blog

  • Reading films, watching books,....
  • Mind candy in the dark
  • All the books left to read...

Like a coworker who you run into occasionally in the hallway, with a comforting smile confirming things are just as it should be on this little marble of ours, Irrfan Khan was an un-intrusive coziness that permeated all the films he acted in. He is one of those people (albeit a celebrity), an incredible human being, you feel lucky to have shared your time on earth with, at the same time he was also passing through.

Irrfan, to me was less of a movie star and more of an acquaintance I had never met. An acquaintance who had the potential to turn into a friend, if one of us was brave enough to break the ice.

Fair winds and following skies, Irrfan, to your next port of call.

If you want an intro to Irrfan's body of work, here is an article from The Atlantic
